Fluxi keeps your connections active in the background, but sometimes a network stops accepting the access you gave it. When that happens, the account says Reconnect to keep publishing in the portfolio's settings, the portfolio shows how many accounts need reconnecting, and Fluxi cannot post to it until you reconnect.
Common causes
- You changed the account's password, or the network signed you out everywhere.
- Someone removed Fluxi's access from the network's security or connected-apps settings.
- The network expired the approval, which some networks do after a period of time.
- For Bluesky: the app password was revoked.
- For Facebook and LinkedIn Pages: the person who connected the account lost their role on the Page.
Reconnect
- Go to Settings → Social Portfolios and open the portfolio.
- Find the account that says Reconnect to keep publishing and choose Reconnect.
- Approve access on the network's site again, signing in as the same account.
Your scheduled posts are kept. Posts that were due while the account was disconnected will have failed, so open Posts, choose Needs attention, and retry them. See Why did my post fail?.
For Bluesky, create a new app password and connect again. See Connect Bluesky with an app password.
Reconnecting for automations and keyword replies
Automations and keyword replies need permission to read engagement, reply to comments and, for keyword replies, send direct messages. Accounts connected before Fluxi asked for those permissions keep publishing normally, but Fluxi asks you to reconnect them before turning these features on:
- Threads and Facebook: reconnect to approve replying and reading engagement, and on Facebook, messaging.
- X: reconnect so Fluxi can send direct messages.
- YouTube: reconnect so Fluxi can read and answer comments.
- Bluesky: create a new app password with Allow access to your direct messages ticked, and connect with that.
Reconnecting this way does not affect anything already scheduled.
