Posts are written in the composer. Open it with Create in the sidebar, by pressing C anywhere in the app, or by clicking a day on the Calendar, which starts a post on that date.
1. Choose where it goes
The accounts in your current social portfolio are shown as icons across the top of the composer. Click an icon to include or leave out that account. At least one account has to stay selected.
2. Write a version for each network
Every selected account gets its own section. Networks have different limits and styles, so you write the version for each one separately. A LinkedIn post can run to several paragraphs while the X version stays to one sentence.
- Each section shows a live character count against that network's limit.
- To start every network from the same text, write it once and use Copy post content to all posts (the copy icon in the toolbar under the text box). Then trim each one.
- On X, Threads and Bluesky, you can split a post into a thread. See Post a thread.
- AI Assist, the sparkles icon in the same toolbar, can write the post for you, from a photo or a one-line brief, and rewrite it for every other network with Adapt.
3. Add media
Open the Media tab beside the composer to add images and videos from the portfolio's media library, or upload new ones. Need an image? AI Images can make one. The composer checks each network's rules, such as how many images a post can carry or whether it needs a video, and tells you what to fix before you schedule. Fluxi writes alt text for every image you upload, so check it says what you want.
Use the Preview tab to see roughly how the post will look on each network. On a phone or tablet, where there is no room for the side panel, the Preview button opens it from the bottom of the screen.
4. Choose when
Pick a date and time with the date picker. Times are shown in your computer's time zone.
Under the date picker, Suggested times offer a few good moments to post, one click each. They are the times audiences on your selected networks are usually most active, based on industry research rather than your own posts, worked out for where your audience is. There is always one for today and one for the day the post is set to. A dashed suggestion means that day has no typically good time left, so it offers the networks' usual time or the next free slot instead. A new post starts at the best time left today.
To tell Fluxi where your audience is, open Set where your audience is from the information button next to the suggestions, or add the time zones to your business profile.
Then choose one of:
- Schedule Post publishes at the time you picked.
- Post Now publishes straight away.
- Save as Draft keeps the post without scheduling it, so you can finish it later.
You do not need to stay signed in or keep your computer on. Scheduled posts are published by Fluxi's servers.
Keep it working after it goes out
On X, Threads, Bluesky, Instagram and Facebook, the Automate button in the composer toolbar can repost the post later, reply with a plug once it takes off, or send a link to everyone who comments a keyword. See Automations and Keyword replies.
Where to find it afterwards
Scheduled posts appear on the Calendar and in Posts, where you can filter by network and status. See Use the calendar. To change one, see Edit or delete a scheduled post.
